John Saunders
Chief Executive Officer

Saunders has been CEO of IMI Global since founding the Company in 1995. He previously was a partner with Pathfinder Consulting Services, Inc., a strategic planning and management consulting firm. An expert in both technology and the livestock industry, Saunders is a graduate of Yale University with B.S. degree in Environmental Studies and a B.A. degree in History.


Leann Saunders
President

Leann Saunders is the President of IMI Global, Inc. (IMI), an agricultural verification solutions company and founder of the Where Food Comes From® food labeling program. A one-of-a-kind brand, Where Food Comes From® combines the verification and traceability expertise of IMI with new Quick Response (QR) code technology to allow consumers to use their Smart Phone to scan food product labels and quickly access detailed information about the product’s origins. To date, Where Food Comes From® can be found in a variety of locations across the U.S., including 19 Heinen’s Fine Foods stores in Cleveland and Chicago and the Original Delmonico’s Steakhouse in New York City.

Leann is also an active member of the United States Meat Export Federation (USMEF) Board of Directors, currently elected as the Secretary/Treasurer for the 2012-2013 year and Chair of the Traceability Working Group. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the International Stockmen’s Education Foundation. Personally, Leann remains actively involved with her family’s ranching and stocker operations and is part owner of the Mayfield Heritage Cattle Company in Animas, New Mexico.


Dannette Henning
Chief Financial Officer

Henning is a CPA with more than 15 years of professional experience, including a deep background in SEC and financial reporting, due diligence, debt and equity financing transactions, consolidations and integrations, and process improvement and re-design. Prior to joining IMI Global in March 2008, Henning was controller with Einstein Noah Restaurant Group for more than three years. Previous assignments include: assistant controller, Sirenza Microdevices; audit services with KPMG Peat Marwick; accounting manager, DF&R Restaurant Company; and senior accountant, CSI/CDC Company.


Jay Pfeiffer
Vice President of Corporate Development

Jay Pfeiffer has worked with IMI Global since 2006. He has a diverse background in investor relations, capital formation, corporate governance, strategic planning and corporate communications. He has advised dozens of NYSE, AMEX, Nasdaq and OTCBB companies on building shareholder value. Pfeiffer has led six successful private placement, IPO, and/or secondary offering efforts for emerging growth companies and served on the board of directors of a Nasdaq-listed company. He also previously served as an investment advisor for two NYSE-listed firms.


Cory Weaver
Vice President of Information Technology

Cory Weaver is the Vice President of Information Technologies and has been with IMI since 1999. He is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of all of IMI's Information Technology Systems. Cory was previously a software engineer with SYS-TEC Corporation, where he worked as a contractor to implement inventory management systems for Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Airforce and Navy. He holds a B.S. degree in Business from Heidelberg College and is a Certified Network Engineer.


Doug Stanton
Executive Vice President of US Verified

Doug Stanton is the Vice President of our USVerified team, which includes both development and auditing services. Here he works closely with our customers to help them achieve USVerified certification, and is instrumental in getting our NHTC ranches and feedyards approved.

Since graduating with a Masters degree in Animal Science from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX, Doug has worked in a variety of positions including both ranch and feedyard nutrition consulting and sales. He was also involved with the development of the Farmland Supreme Beef Alliance, one of the first retained ownership programs on the market. He currently resides in Garden City, Kansas with his wife and family.


Cara Gerken
Vice President of Consulting

Cara Gerken, Vice President of Quality Services at IMI Global, Inc. helps IMI's customers develop identification, traceability and quality verification programs. Cara also recently received accreditation through the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program to provide consulting services to organizations seeking SQF implementation and documentation.

Prior to IMI, Cara served as a Livestock and Meat Marketing Specialist for the USDA. Cara also served as the Executive Secretary of the National Livestock Grading and Marketing Association. She is a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, and she received her M.S. in food science from Oklahoma State University.


Linda Henderson
Controller/Office Manager

Linda joined IMI Global in 2007, bringing a 25 year background of bookkeeping and accounting from prior formal education and employment positions. Her responsibilities at IMI include all facets of bookkeeping, including A/R, A/P, office management and support to the CFO.


Kathryn Britton
Marketing, Customer Service & Key Accounts Manager

Kathryn joined the IMI Global team in June of 2007. At IMI Kathryn is responsible for overseeing all facets of organizational marketing strategies, including event participation, advertising, graphic design and brand awareness for IMI and Where Food Comes From®. Born and raised in Washington State, Kathryn made her way to IMI via Colorado State University, where she received her Bachelors in Equine Science/Agricultural Economics and Masters in Animal Science.


Susan Sanders
USVerified Manager

Susan joined the IMI team in 2005. Prior to coming to IMI, she worked for the Certified Angus Beef (CAB) Program in the Monitoring Department, where her responsibilities included research analysis of product sales trends. She also spent three years with Red Oak Farms, a start-up branded beef company licensed by the American Hereford Association (AHA) to produce and market Certified Hereford Beef. Along with her career experience, she also received a BS in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

As an offsite USVerified Manager, Susan works from her home office in Edgerton, MO. Her responsibilities include development and training for our verification services provided to our ranch, backgrounder, and feedyard customers.


Bilynn Johnson
Further Process Manager and Audit Coordinator

Bilynn Johnson has been with IMI Global since 2005. Her responsibilities include developing ranch, backgrounder, and feedyard QSA programs for Source and Age, Non-Hormone Treated Cattle (NHTC) and Simply Natural Beef (SNB) marketing claims. Bilynn also oversees our onsite auditing team, acting as the audit coordinator. This includes auditor management, scheduling and training. Bilynn’s background is in the meat science arena where she has worked extensively with packing plant programs. As a result, Bilynn also develops Export Verification programs and conducts internal audits for packing plants and further processors. Bilynn holds an M. S. in Food Science from Oklahoma State University. She resides in Happy, TX with her husband and family.


RaeMarie Gordon
USVerified On-Site Auditor

RaeMarie joined IMI Global in August of 2008. As the USVerified™ Audit Specialist, her primary responsibility is to visit various ranches and feedyards to conduct on-site audits, assisting producers in verifying their cattle for IMI’s assorted value-added programs. RaeMarie has been working in the cattle industry her entire life as a cow/calf producer, an auction market rep., assistant feedyard manager, national beef checkoff spokesman, the editor of a national beef publication and the director of membership programs and grassroots development for a state cattle organization. Aside from her extensive industry experience, she also has a B.S. in Animal Science with a Cattle Industry Concentration from Colorado State University.


Hallie Cox
Supply Verified Audit Manager

Hallie has been a part of IMI Global’s Source and Age Verification team since the spring of 2006. Her responsibilities include coordinating and managing IMI’s auditors, and all audit-related customer service.

Prior to coming to IMI, she studied as a Veterinary Technician at Northeast Community College, an Animal Sciences major at the University of Nebraska, and in farrier science at Bozeman, MT. She and her husband Carroll, and their daughters Maddi and Kati ranch near Rushville, Nebraska on the northern edge of the Sandhills.


Eric Kelton
Software Engineer

Eric Kelton is a software engineer with B.A. from the University of Colorado, and has built software used by numerous organizations in the agriculture industry. He has experience working with a wide variety of platforms and technologies, and has developed database driven systems for: Supply Chain Integrations, Process Verification, News and Media, Herd Management, Trace Back, Process Automation, Instrument Grading, and Industrial Controls.

Prior to IMI Global, Eric has an extensive work history with Fortune 500 Companies, including: Lucent, Boeing, DuPont, Qwest, Computer Sciences Corp, and Enron. As a youth, Mr. Kelton attained the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated Valedictorian of his high school class.
