Oklahoma/North Central Texas Region Contract Auditor
This position is for an independent contract auditor that will be responsible for conducting audits on Ranchers and Producers for IMI Global's USDA Process Verification Umbrella Program. This position requires travel to on-site locations to conduct outlined evaluations of processes and procedures developed under the scope of IMI's program. This includes but is not limited to audits for Source and Age, Non-Hormone Treated, Verified Natural, and Global Animal Partnership(GAP) marketing claims. This person will be responsible for scheduling and conducting audits, and following up with Ranchers and Producers on audit findings. This person will also work in conjunction with the Audit Division Manager for training and ongoing audit reviews.
Minimum Requirenments
- Minimum of 4 year college degree preferably in Animal Science or related field
- Extensive travel with some overnight travel (potential of 3-4 nights week)
- Ethical, Open minded, Diplomatic, Observant, Perceptive, Decisive
- Organized, Versatile, Self-motivated
- Strong customer service focus
- Knowledge of the business being evaluated (i.e., beef production at the ranch, calf ranch, stocker and/or feedlot level)
- Fluent with email and Internet
